If you haven’t enabled two-factor authentication on your Twitter account, now is a good time to do so. Inside will be a file called “Your archive.html,” where all your tweets, DMs, and more will live. Follow that link to the “Download data” page, where you’ll see a ZIP file. You’ll have to wait a while (this process can take days, and some people have reported delays), but eventually you’ll receive an email notifying you that your download is ready.
